With 30 years of institutional global equity management experience, Peter is among the most experienced international investors in Canada.

Prior to founding Tancook in 2016, Peter was Portfolio Manager and Co-President responsible for $20+ billion of international and global institutional equity mandates at Sprucegrove Investment Management. Peter was at Sprucegrove from its founding 1993 to his departure in 2014, a period during which the international equity strategy outperformed the index and peers.

Peter is a CFA charterholder and has earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from McGill University, a Master of Arts in International Relations from Université Laval, and a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Waterloo.

Peter speaks English, French and intermediate Spanish.
