Michael joined Tancook in December 2022, reuniting with former colleagues. Previously, he spent 15 years at Sprucegrove Investment Management as an Investment Analyst covering international equities in great depth. He also has 7 years of corporate experience, including working in consumer research at Motorola and corporate strategy at Lenovo.

Michael is a Chartered Investment Manager, and has earned an MBA in Global Asset and Wealth Management from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. He also holds a Master of International Management and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Psychology.

Michael speaks fluent English and Mandarin.
